1926 was very interesting year for the newly formed Chrysler Corporation. Walter Chrysler had made a name for himself in railroad industry long before he had anything to do automobiles. Always a fan of the newly created gadget the new that they would be the way of the future. Starting his career in 1911 as the works manager for the Buick Motor Company he was handpicked by James Storrow for the position. BY not only being able to cut cost and improve production times he made a name for himself very quickly. This 1926 Chrysler is a great example of his first year run of vehicles. Really just a rebadged Maxwell it started and lived its entire life in the dry warm climate of Arizona. All of the panels are original to the car and appear to be in great condition.
