This California Car was completely rebuilt inside and out, with great attention to detail. To pay homage to its home state, this Mustang has had the California Special rear end treatment with the spoiler and end caps. These pieces, the side scoops, and front spoiler were professionally molded into the body. 2010 marked the return after an 8 year hiatus for GM's pony car. Production was halted in 2002 but after much push back from consumers a new concept was hatched in 2006. The new one would be based on the ZETA platform which gave the car a longer wheel base but a shorter body. The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro appeared in Chevrolet dealerships in September 1966,[5] for the 1967 model year on a brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seat, hardtop or convertible with a choice of six-cylinder and V8 power plants. The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights.
