The first Corvette was put out in 1953 as a roadster style car and the iterations and changes to the model would follow to be a legacy of flagship performance from Chevrolet. The C3 body style came in 1968 featuring a sleek more aerodynamic design that has attracted a larger market at the time then the C2. Under the hood of this 79 lies the higher optioned L82 350 cubic inch V8 that packed well over 210 horsepower which was accomplished by having a more aggressive camshaft profile as well as a less restrictive intake design and a larger carburetor. The Vettes engine is backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission making for an easy to operate sports car for everyone.
