This stunning street rod features an all steel body from front to back. The body is straight as an arrow and is covered in a slick coat of Dupont Red paint which offers an eye catching orange appearance. The inside has been insulated and sound deadened for a quiet and comfortable ride. In addition to the glossy paint there is a tasteful pinstripe which has been hand painted and matches the interior. The hood offers some versatility: if you like to show of the engine, perhaps at a car show, simply unlatch the hood and lift straight of easily to show off the chromed out 302. It is nice to see a Ford with a Ford engine, in this case a performance built 302 CID V8. The engine has been bored. 030 over, and has a nice Edlebrock carburetor and intake sitting on top. A big fat aluminum radiator keeps the Ram Jet V8 cool on hot days, and a TH350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the Ford 9' rear end with ease. This car was built by Doug Thompson in Kansas City, Missouri.
