This beautifully restored CJ5 is in amazing shape and comes with a folder full of receipts from the build. When looking at this Jeep, it doesn't take long to notice that some serious time and money went into the restoration. Every nut and bolt has been touched and its apparent that no corners were cut. The build was mostly complete in 2011 and has had the last few parts installed within the last couple of years.

During the frame off restoration the original 304 cubic inch v8 engine, 3 speed manual transmission, rear end, and transfer case were all completely rebuilt and have a little over 2,000 miles on them. The brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, axles, and the rest of the running gear were also completely overhauled at this point. There were a few items that were best to replace rather than restore and those include the carburetor, ignition control module, steering gearbox, and a few other odds and ends.

This car is in good overall shape and shows well. It is mostly original with the exception of an Atomic Orange repaint in 2021. The odometer is currently showing just 18,006 undocumented miles. Under the hood is the original 2. 8L inline 6 cylinder engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine sounds very healthy and the transmission shifts as it should. Overall driveability would be considered very good with little to no play in the suspension and steering. Inside the car you will find that the interior also is in good overall shape but does show some wear and tear in some areas more so than others....

The Jeepster has a small production run from 1948-1950 with some of the left over 1950s being sold in the year 1951. This Jeepster is a nice example of a 2-wheel drive convertible drop top designed by Brooks Stevens. The convertible Jeepster is one of the most interesting buy also overlooked vehicles of all time. The exterior of this 50' Jeepster is painted in a Cyprus Green Poly. Our opinion, gives a better than new look with the stunning tan interior. I would rate the paint on this ride a 'good quality driver' but will definitely turn some heads at a car show! The European style certain windows and top is in great condition. Use this car as a show type vehicle, beach cruiser, road cruiser, or for everything. There's no way to be behind the wheel of this vehicle and not have a smile on your face.
