This Seventh Generation Impala SS is the one we all love. This year Impala SS is fantastic and really showcased its LT1 5. 7L 350CID small block V8. Unlike its twin LT1 that is found in corvette of the same era, the LT1 used in the Impala was fitted with cast-iron cylinder heads instead of aluminum ones, and a camshaft that was designed more for low-end torque. The LT1 in this one boast a modest 260HP with a top speed of 142 MPH! So you can see why most police departments went with this car as there cruisers.
