This 46 Jeep was meticulously torn apart down to a bare frame, then using new and refurbished parts built back to the condition you see today. 1945 was a great time for the states. We had won the war, people were getting back to regular jobs, and the economy was beginning to take off. The GI's had came back with stories from the war and they all had one thing in common, they all had a Jeep involved. So in 1945 the Willys Overland company still heavy in surplus parts began producing a civilian version for them. By the end of 46 they had sold an astounding 73000 CJ's and the legend was born. This CJ has the period correct 2. 2 liter inline 4 putting out a respectable 60 horses. However the amazing 105 LBFT of torque meant this little guy could pretty much crawl through anything.
