Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this 1967 Pontiac GTO Restomod, built for the one and only Jason Taylor of the Miami Dolphins by Big Dick's Muscle Cars, in Sunrise Florida.

Backstory: This "Little GTO" was originally built the second week of July at the Kansas City, Missouri assembly line- in Tyrol Blue with a black vinyl top and black bench seat interior, before being painstakingly transformed into the pavement-pounding, legend-defending street machine you see here. With almost twice the original 1967 400 horsepower and almost 200 ft. lbs. more torque, this is one bad-ass Pontiac.

The exterior looks terrific in bright red, and the stance says it means business. The original 400, 335-horse V8 is long gone, and was replaced with Chevrolet's 6.2 liter, 376 cubic inch LS9 Supercharged V8, making a whopping 638 horsepower and 605 Ft. lbs. of axle-twisting torque. All that power is connected to Tremec's T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual with Hurst Shifter, and then back to a Fab 9 Strange center section rear end. A Griffin radiator and electric fans keep it cool. Total Control Products springs support it, and Wilwood drilled and slotted rotors with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear disc brakes assure safe stopping power. 20" custom billet wheels make it pop. We can say with confidence this Goat does more than graze and look good!

Inside, upgrades include a two-tone effect with parchment and black, a Trans-Am style machine turned dash, Auto Meter Phantom II gauges, Kenwood double DIN sound system, Vintage AC system, tilt wheel, and custom lined trunk area. It is real 4217 GTO on steroids and we tip our hat to the builders, for not deviating too far from the look that made GTO's great in '67.

Note: The wide hood closure gap you see in the photos has been adjusted. The center latch pin was adjusted for proper fit.
