Gateway Classic Cars Houston is excited to offer this awesome Avalanche Gray 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra. This is a registered Classic 97 SVT Cobra. Virtually everything is new and upgraded using topflight name brand components. Originally a Crystal White Cobra, this one has been completely and thoroughly redone in Avalanche Gray, giving it a stealthy look. According to its owner/builder, virtually every square inch of this vehicle has been gone through. Even the wiring harness has been re-loomed with braided nylon and cloth tape. It features a freshly rebuilt 32 valve 400hp V8, featuring a forged crank, Boss 302 rods, flat top ceramic coated pistons, Teksid block, and ARP hardware. The suspension is fully adjustable, including the IRS setup out back, and it can go from “comfort” to “hardcore track” with the turn of a knob on each dampener. The exhaust is nicely tucked so she doesn’t scrape anywhere. This light gray Cobra is a rear-seat delete vehicle and is equipped with a super snug fitting set of high-back bucket seats that offer more than enough support under spirited driving conditions. The exterior appearance is classic Cobra, with a slick looking set of SVE 5-spoke wheels, a newer set of Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 rubber, slotted & cross drilled rotors and the beautiful engine note coming through the Magnaflow exhaust system and out of the aggressive looking side mount exhaust tips.
