Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is very proud to offer this recently restored Factory Air Conditioned, 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS. This 1965 SS has been built to drive and enjoy. It is powered by a GM crate 454 HO big block rated at 438-hp, mated to rebuilt Super T-10 racing type 4-speed manual transmission, 3:08 10-bolt rear end. This car will surely turns heads everywhere you go, as the paint and trim just gleam, as every piece both inside and out, has been rechromed. The sun really sets off the yellow paint job, which the black interior sets off the exterior, what a combo! They didn't stop with just the driveline, and the cosmetics, they utilized POR 15 on the frame and under carriage, went to the interior and added complete sound deadening material. To say they took the time and did this one right is an understatement the hardware is all stainless steel, as well as the brake and gas lines, and fuel tank. Did I mention how good she sounds? This SS has stainless steel 3" exhaust with the X-pipe to balance some of that back pressure. To keep with the vintage look, the seller kept the Muncie shift handle, but utilized Hurst for the competition linkage. This SS was also gifted with a nice and new interior, including a console. The car is well equipped including; AM/FM with the optional Factory Multiplexer, power steering and power brakes, and a new set of American Racing wheels with B.F.Goodrich radial T/A's 245/60R/15 tires.
