This extra-fine example was featured in the 9/08 edition of Chevy Rumble magazine and appears as it did looks-wise. [some of us can't leave well-enough alone!] Back in 2008 the body was treated to a stainless steel delete, smoothed hood, and painted bumpers - that just makes a statement! The Dupont Centari black acrylic paint is soo flat, straight, and deep! After 11-years of this publication - she can be featured yet again today! When you take a peek at the photos, you will see what we're talking about - this is show quality! The updates the new owner made were all about power and safety, as she is now powered by a rebuilt 454, bored .30-over making it a 468cu in, rated @ ~ 600-hp, with Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake, Holley 4-barrel, mated to a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission, with a rebuilt Ford 9" positraction with 3:55 gears. Did they stop there - heck no - she has a ConceptOne power assist steering box, AutoRad aluminum core/radiator/condenser unit, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, and tubular upper control arms. The interior was updated with a 2-tone grey/black vinyl bench seat, rubber mat, Vintage a/c, tilt column, an updated dash with Classic Instrument gauges, tachometer, as well an updated stereo - this just fits the style of this build. Options for the car include vinyl interior, a/c, AM/FM/CD stereo, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, aftermarket Corvette Rally wheels with 225/45ZR1, 295/45R18 radial tires.
