Per the consignor, this bus has been restored 9-yrs ago, repainted in a Cream/Blue paint scheme, and is a very very nice driver! There are no documents for the restoration however, who ever did the work - did a very nice job - as she shows well! The owner did have the 4-speed manual rebuilt 10,000-miles ago, and runs and shifts fine - as expected This 72 is equipped with a 1,600CC motor which makes 70HP. This little camper can be a lot of fun to drive when you're cruising down the road - or that weekend get-away! The interior appears to be in very god condition as well, as the seat covers appear like new, along with the original sink, and refrigerator. They took the time to update w/ a solar panel, new camper top, optional canopy, and aftermarket bike rack. This VW bus is a great find for any camper, or bus enthusiast or even someone who is looking at getting a VW van in great shape.
