What most people don't recall is their success in the commercial market with the Model TT 1 ton truck. Based on the Model T chassis, the Model TT featured a longer wheelbase, heavy duty frame and heavy duty axle. With a payload capacity of 1 short ton and robust durability the Model TT was a common site back in the day. This 1927 example features a steel cab and a flat bed that is well suited for poultry runs and parade floats alike. The paint finish can be any color you can imagine it to, as long as you imagine it black, because that's the color of the truck. The engine is Ford's tried and true inline 4 cylinder and the transmission has 3 speeds to ensure the truck can climb any hill the road can throw at it. The current owner has completely overhauled the motor, axles, transmission, differential, radiator and more. If you're looking for a slice of early days of motoring, this is the one you want to own!
