Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this 1973 Triumph Stag. The British Triumph Stag was designed to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz SL class models. All Stags were four-seater convertible coupés, but for structural rigidity- and to meet proposed American rollover standards of the time- the Stag required a B-pillar "roll bar" hoop connected to the windscreen frame by a T-bar. This Stag is finished in a very nice red finish with a black convertible top. Beautifully styled by Giovanni Michelotti, the Stag is powered by a V-8 engine and a four-speed manual transmission. The woodgrain interior presents well complimenting a well-sorted black interior. The car is stated to be one of 1940 Stags built for the U.S. between 1971-1973. Recent service work completed by a Stag specialist totaling $14,000.
