In fact, it was with the last owner for over twenty years, and we're told he even likely bought it off of the original owner. We're lucky enough to sometimes come across these kinds of stories with first-gen T-birds because they are the kind of icon that people love to cherish. This one was even upgraded to a very cool color combo. The white paint gives you the option of coordinating with the whitewall tires and iconic non-porthole hardtop for a very elegant total style. No matter how you choose to love this Thunderbird, you get all the iconic pieces you love from day one. This includes the special '57 front bumper, hood scoop trim, rear fender skirts, wire wheels, and the artful rear bumper with the exhaust tips integrated.
This is a D-code car, and so it's great to lift the hood and see the correct-style "Thunderbird Special" 312 cubic-inch V8. It has a stock style look with Ford red paint on the block. This is a great powerhouse for easy cruising. That is why you also get good driving features like power steering and the Ford-O-Matic two-speed automatic transmission.
