Hub CapsThe Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1939 Ford Business Coupe for sale. This coupe was originally purchased by the current owner’s father in 1948. It was driven 3 times a week up until 1971. During this time the father changed the wheels to 15†because the tires where easier to find and gave a better ride. In 1968 the engine was rebuilt and then stored just after 1971. In 2013 the Coupe was given a full restoration. It started with a body off frame. The frame was cleaned and painted as well as the tank both exterior and interior sealed. This Ford was given all new wiring and the battery is still 6 volt. The body was sanded down to metal, primed and painted to its current black color. After painting, this Coupe was wet sanded and buffed. New chrome bumpers were installed and both water pumps were replaced with new replicas. A new headliner, door panels, and seat covers, glass, gaskets, and door seal were all installed. The engine was dismantled and rebuilt along with new vinyl covers for the running boards. A solid state crab type distributor was installed which far more reliable. Call us or come see this great original vehicle.
