The second-generation Camaro had been in circulation for 9 years by this point yet 79 would record the best sales of any Gen 2 Camaro. The sleek styling was ahead of its time when it was originally released but by 79 the public had grown to love and accept its fastback design. This car is powered by a 350 CID V8 with a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with AC AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player, power steering and power brakes and raised white letter radial tires. The transmission was rebuilt in 2011 and the carb was replaced with a Rochester 4 barrel. The radiator was replaced in 2016 and the water pump replaced in 2009 along with the rear shocks.
