In addition to its several key safety innovations, the fifth (and final, for years to come) generation of Bronco was famously easy on the eyes. This latecomer to the fold featured a more aerodynamic design, plus a host of other stylish updates, both inside and out. By Generation 5, Bronco's reputation for capability, durability, and off-road prowess was well-established. Bronco was often the vehicle of choice for rangers in the United States Forest Service and Border Patrol officers.
The 1996 Eddie Bauer Edition offered here boasts just under 82,000 miles since it was new on the odometer. The truck remains in authentic condition throughout. Its' 5.8-liter V8 engine delivers power to the automatic transmission with overdrive, and Ford's bulletproof four-wheel drive system help keeps it surefooted. The Eddie Bauer is the highest trim and highest optioned Bronco you can get. Options include a Leather interior, front captain chairs with a console, power windows, power steering, power brakes, aluminum wheels, climate control, cruise control, tilt, Eddie Bauer trim, rear-mounted spare, power rear window, four-wheel ABS, and more.
The truck remains in nice condition throughout. The leather seating shows minor wear, the dash is in great condition with no cracks, all interior trim is clean and intact, and the carpet is clean with minor wear. The Eddie Bauer is dressed sharply in the iconic Pacific Green Metallic paint, and the trim shows well and presents consistent with age, use, and quality care. The owner claims the truck was recently serviced, including new tires, tune-up, brakes, brakes lines, and four-wheel alignment.
