1980 Cadillac Fleetwood

For sale in our Chicago showroom is a well preserved 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine. 1980 saw a lot of changes to the Cadillac lineup of cars but the zenith was the series 75 limousine that was available in the formal and informal style and this is the informal style without divider glass. These vehicles were not stretched but were factory cars that were 100% Cadillac and were used by celebrities, heads of state and U.S. Presidents. This particular vehicle is one of 3 that were ordered by the State of Michigan to be used for Governor Milliken. Due to the poor economy of the time the state only took delivery of 1 and this one was purchased by Dr. Joseph C. Muhler of Stugis who worked as a scientist for Proctor and Gamble and developed flouride in Crest toothpaste. After he used it to attend Indiana football games and special functions it was then sold in 1998 with only 23,992 miles to a gentleman who used it to take his children and grandchildren to the theatre.

No expense was spared in creating the marvelous automobiles and that is evident by the ample amount of chrome trim, full vinyl top and gorgeous spoke wheel covers. The inside of this car is truly impressive and features dark blue velour coverings referred to by Cadillac as Heather. These seats are so comfortable it's hard to climb inside and not feel cozy enough for a snooze. The series 75 features 2 folding "jump seats", rear climate control hidden inside of a sliding wood grain compartment, exit straps and halogen lighting. Full power functions adorn this classy automobile including power front seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, AM/FM Stereo with digital display, a power antenna and of course power steering and brakes. The original 6.0 Liter V8 starts up effortlessly and is very smooth and quiet. The automatic transmission shifts very smooth and will get this massive automobile up to highway speed without hesitation.
