Built on an Art Morrison chassis, this '40 has been chopped 2.5 inches and lowered by 1". The body is smooth and straight and sports a snappy bright red paintjob which really shimmers. Contrasting well are the chrome hubcaps wrapped in wide whites. This wheel/tire combo really gives a classic look hot rodders can appreciate. Under the hood is a healthy 350 CID V8 dressed in chrome from top to bottom. Despite the tight quarters under the hood, they've managed to gracefully fit air-conditioning in there to keep the driver and passengers cool. Other goodies include a Mustang II style front end with rack and pinion steering, power steering, and power brakes.
Inside you'll find beautiful custom tan upholstery which gives this rod a real upscale feel. Dolphin gauges, a Lokar shifter, and a banjo steering wheel complete the control setup. This street rod has just enough custom touches to make it stand out, without detracting from the original beauty of the 1940 Ford.
