In factory trim, the 6.1 pushes a respectable 425 horsepower, giving plenty of performance. During the transformation to turn this run of the mill Challenger into something truly unique, an intercooled Vortech V-3 supercharger was installed to really throw some grunt at the rear wheels. A full free-flowing exhaust system spools out hot gasses, and gives bystanders chills at the same time. The 5-speed automatic transmission provides quick, crisp shifts getting your right into the next gear to keep the thrill of acceleration going.
Now let’s get to the looks of this baby. Several modifications have brought this Challenger further from the rest of the herd, most notable having the roof removed, making this one of the few late-model convertible Challengers! Keeping the usability of the car high the convertible top is power, visibility with the top up is almost identical to the coupe. A custom grille was put in place of the factory unit, reminiscent of the ’70 Barracuda. A beautiful coat of Plum Crazy is laid on thick across the muscular lines, aiding the vintage feel of this modern muscle.
