With a healthy 283 cubic inch Chevy V8 and a 700R4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission, this Roadster is set to cruise. Don’t let that fool you, though! Plenty of trick parts have been fitted to make this a very capable machine. The rear axle was fitted under the frame in a 4-link set up with coilover suspension giving plenty of adjustability over the stance of this beauty. A full Magnaflow exhaust gives a tremendous growl from this beautiful classic.
The downs body was laid on the frame around 2007, when a custom mix was put together with Ghost flames making this body pop from the sea of other hot rods. A custom ostrich leather interior helps separate this Ford from the crowd. Making ingress and egress better is a tilt-away steering column, similar to the design in some ‘60s T-birds. There is a master power disconnect hidden in the car as well for both theft deterrence, as well as long-term storage. This baby rides like a dream, and looks the part, too! Give the key a little twist, fire up the sporty V8, and head on out for a great time!
