1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two door hardtop that has had a frame off restoration! This Bel Air received a professional comprehensive frame off restoration over a 16 month period. Starting with a rust free 86,000 actual mile Bel Air and performing a "no expense spared" restoration led to this show quality '57. Extremely straight body with high gloss two stage Torch Red paint covering all original sheet metal including body, floors, and trunk pan! Under the hood the 283 CID V8 with Power Pak Diamond heads has been rebuilt with an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carburetor, polished water pump, all new fasterners, Mallory billet distributor, MSD coil, chrome K&N air cleaner, dual exhaust, and gloss black treatment on the inner fenders, firewall, and radiator support for a show quality shine! The two speed Powerglide transmission also had a rebuild making this car a pleasure to cruise in. The interior received the same makeover with all new upholstery but maintaining the original Bel Air styling in cloth and leather, and the modern amenities like an AM/FM radio and power windows. Other upgrades include front power disc brakes, tinted windshield, radial tires, Cragar SS wheels, all new chrome and stainless throughout, new rubber seals, gaskets, weatherstripping, felt, gloss black powdercoated chassis, and a balanced driveshaft. Looking underneath this car, you can really see the attention to detail that went into this restoration. The beautiful Torch Red paint is carried onto the bottom of the car, and the frames gloss black finish really lends this car a clean, show car look over every inch of the vehicle.
