Tilt Steering Wheel1934 Ford 2Dr Sedan For sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 34 Ford has a 1961 Chevrolet 348 Tri-power engine with matching 3 speed manual transmission. The engine has never been bored and the only change made was adding a mild Isky Solid Lift Cam. The manual transmission on this Ford has a Hurst shifter. The rear end gear ratio is 4.11. The flywheel and clutch were recently replaced. Cooling this 348 Chevy is a Walker radiator with a fan shroud and manually switched electric fan. The front suspension has a 4 inch dropped front axle, with Pete & Jakes 4 - bar front end, a Mustang steering box which is hooked up to a Pontiac tilt column, machined front spindles to accept Chevy front drums that uses 2 3/4" wide brake shoes. The wheels are Tru-Spoke. The body and fenders on this 34 Ford 2dr are all steel, and the '34 frame is boxed in critical places, with the factory cross member still intact. The paint on this car is an older lacquer 1972 Cadillac Russet Firemist #99, paint job, and there is checking and cracking in the paint here and there, along with some paint chips. The paint job was done in the late 1980's. The interior is Naugahyde, as well as the rooftop insert, and both are in great shape. The original crank out front windshield works, as well as the door glass crank windows work like they did from the factory. This Ford has the cowl vent, FM 8 Track radio, full aftermarket gauges, electric fuel pump, battery cut off switch, and working dome light.
