Originally powered by a Buick Nailhead V8, a Chevrolet 383 stroker engine has been set in its place with a TH-400 3-speed automatic transmission making for a much quicker ride. Roughly 2,300 miles have been put on the Buick in this configuration, and it drives like a dream.
The engine has been fitted with some of the best street performance parts you can get, including a Holley EFI kit. A Ford 9" axle was installed with 3.25 gear ratio to handle all the abuse you can throw at it. The whole body was lowered via a set of coilover shocks to get a more aggressive styling and keep road manners to a premium. Keen eyes will spot some of the original chromed parts were powdercoated a satin black to add to the “murdered-out" styling of the car. Hop in the passenger seat and you'll find yourself smiling ear to ear listening to the massive Chevy engine thumping away.
