Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present a potent 1965 Shelby Cobra replica. This replica is build on a Factory Five MKII chassis and was originally assembled in 2003. Cobra replicas are built in a variety of ways, all suiting the builder. This clean example has had a 302 small block Ford V8 engine packed with goodies stuffed under the hood, and all the supplemental upgrades to take full advantage of the power beneath! Being fuel injected, the engine starts up with ease. The first thing you'll notice is the heavy “thump, thump, thump" of the ceramic coated side pipes thanks to the Ford Racing “E" cam.

The beautiful dark blue paint shines like a sapphire and keeps a clean vintage appeal to the classically muscular lines of the Cobra. The black bucket seats hug you just tight enough to keep you in one spot, but still comfortable enough for longer drives. Upgrades are vast on this Cobra, including PBR 13" front brakes and Thunderbird Turbo Coupe rear brakes with drilled and slotted rotors all around. Nothing was overlooked on this little performance machine!
