Powering this street rod is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 paired to a 700R4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The transmission was just rebuilt in 2021, and the engine was completely gone through in 2010. The engine is topped with a 600cfm carburetor and expels gassed through a set of Block Hugger headers, but is otherwise fairly stock for proven reliability.
A Heidts Mustang style front end is tucked under the chassis giving a modern feel to these classic lines. The entire car was repainted in 2016 to give this slick black paint a beautiful shine. A Vintage Air system was installed to keep the cabin cool when the weather gets hot, and a full array of Dolphin gauges let the driver stay aware of all the engine vitals.
