Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this 2003 Hummer H2. This large and in charge yellow monster is actually a pleasure to drive, but it screams get out of my way. It was produced at the AM General Plant under contract with GM, and shares many parts with GM.
Some of the standard features include, cruise control, leather upholstery, power and heated seats dual memory system, BOSE premium sound system, AM/FM with CD, outside-temperature indicator, compass, rear radio controls, oversized tires with HUMMER wheels, PS PB, power windows, power locks, and much much more.
The interior has Cadillac level trim package.
Under the hood is a stout 6.0-liter V8 akin to the LS2 found in the C6 Corvettes, but some differences of course. This powerplant is good for 325 horsepower - only 75 short of the LS2. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic. The suspension gets its start from the GM truck platform, but brings to the table an independent front torsion bar suspension and a 5-link coil spring suspension in the rear specific to the H2. Make all the heads turn and you cruise down the road .
