1931 Ford Victoria

1931 Ford Model A, “Vicky”, is for sale in our Chicago Showroom. The 31 Vicky is an original steel bodied (front fenders and radiator shell are fiberglass), custom street rod that was custom built by custom car builder Richard Varner of Loveland, Colorado. The frame and suspension is custom built to support the power that makes this car a great road car. The custom three-stage PPG paint is “Orange Glow Candy” that sparkles in various shades in the sunlight. The “pure gold base, orange glow top, and clear coat paint was masterfully done by The Ken Dickson Shop in McVeytown, Pa. The blower motor has been built for street driving and is operable on mid-range pump gas. The engine has a BDS blower, AFR heads, smooth cam, and dual quads that provide adequate power for street use. The transmission is a custom built manual shifting built on a GM 350 platform. The engine, transmission, dual brake system, and final assembly were done in the Ken Dickson Shop of McVeytown, Pa. Some of the other outstanding features include: Mustang II rack and-pinion steering, , QA-1 coil-over shocks all around, new 3:55 ratio Ford Auburn limited-slip rear end, electric fuel pump, roller rockers, MSD (rev limited) ignition, and blue printed & balanced.

The interior is a cloth with full “Classic” gauges, AM/FM radio, power windows, power door “poppers” newer radial tires, new brakes all around, “old-school” chrome steel Craiger wheels, and seat belts. There is an estimated 10,000 road miles since built and is truly a “sweet Ride”! With a reasonable asking price, there is opportunity to make your own personal changes to make this your ride.
