Tilt Steering WheelThis 1998 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 convertible is for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This WS6 is the first year to be equipped with the 320hp LS1 V8. Power options include power brakes, locks, steering, seats, windows, convertible top, cruise control, traction control, keyless entry, a/c, cassette, CD changer, lumbar support, ABS (anit-lock braking system), and tilt wheel are other factory options on this WS6. Tires have about 2000 miles on them, new fuel pump was installed along with a Magnaflow muffler, a second set of factory floor mats (new in box) and the factory convertible boot cover are also included. This Trans Am is 1 of 5 WS6 convertibles made in 1998 with this color combination (Taupe top and interior with white paint on the car). This car shows a clean Carfax which is available with the car. In 1998, the Firebird received a \"face lift\" dominated by a new front fascia (now with four pop-up headlights) as well as other modifications. The most significant of which was the introduction of the latest Corvette small block V8 engine, the LS1. The Trans Am WS6 was a specialty package for the Firebird, adding more aggressive handling & suspension, 20 horsepower, as well as minor appearance modifications such as exclusive hood and wheels. In using the name Trans Am, a registered trademark, GM agreed to pay $5 per car sold to the SCCA.
