The only Cobra replica built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc., the Superformance Cobra MKIII is perhaps the most exact Cobra replica on the market. This example has only 2862 miles and promises all the excitement and sure-footedness of the original '60s roadster with all the advantages of modern technology. Painted in striking Sunset Red and Titanium, this Cobra packs a powerful punch with a fully tricked out 408 CID Ford V-8 that is bored, stroked, and fed by a fuel injected Precision Intercooled Turbocharger. Currently configured with a 6 pound boost, the 408 produces a heart-stopping 517 horsepower on the dynameter with an asphalt scorching 550 ft. lbs. of torque. Remember the turbo can be tuned to up to 32 pound of boost. Components include Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads, Crower rocker arms, Comp Cams retro lifters, Siemens 83 lb injectors, JE custom pistons, Crower cam custom ground specifically to the turbo, Magnafuel electric fuel pump, and MSD dual synch electronic ignition matched to an EMS BigStuff3. The bellhousing is a McLeod blowproof with hydraulic throwout bearing with a McLeod twin disc XRT clutch hooked up to a Tremec t56 custom DND Viper transmission that's rated to 800 HP. The exhausts are ceramic coated dual use V clamps for open headers with turndowns or mufflers. Frankly, there isn't room to list all the high-tech, high performance extras on this hot Cobra. Options include tonneau cover, convertible top, and a laptop for EMS programming. As replicas go, there aren't many better than this Superformance MKIII with incredible power controlled with state-of-the-art programming.
