This 2002 Audi TT Turbo is located in our Chicago Illinois showroom. 2002 marked the TT's entry into the Le Mans circuit. Many people say this was done to give the TT more credibility in the performance world. Always known for its aggressive styling and great build quality 2002 would mark the year that the TT would begin to be known more for its exceptional handling. Equipped with Audi's QUATTRO AWD system this little racer feels like it is on rails. The Quattro system was introduced in 1980 and was an immediate success. With it being a permanent AWD system it was totally different than anything before it. This particular type actually senses which wheel is slipping and stops all power to that wheel and transfers it to the wheel that has traction. This is what enables the TT to have its blistering cornering speeds. This particular model is even more sought after with its 1.8l Turbo charged engine. This gave the TT an amazing 45 more HP over stock. Not to mention that great sound of a turbo spooling up and who doesn't like that.
