Vinyl Interior1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 69 Firebird is powered by a 1969 Grand Prix400 V8 engine which has been rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago. The Pontiac 400 has been upgraded with a .030 over bore, forged pistons, mild performance camshaft, Edelbrock intake, Holley 4 barrel carburetor, HEI, ceramic coated headers, Be Cool aluminum radiator, chrome alternator, chrome valve covers, and chrome air cleaner. The B&M shifter allows you to run this Pontiac Firebird through the gears of the Bow-Tie 700R4 automatic transmission with a 2,500 stall which is linked to a 8.5" rear end with Eaton 3.73 posi gears. Other upgrades to this "F" body convertible include new exhaust, both top cylinder replaced, Hotchkis rear springs, and Bilstein rear shocks. Included with the car is the original shifter with plate and knob, original A/C evaporator with POA valve, and another double grooved water pump pulley for an A/C equipped car. The inside heater core box is still in the car and looks to be complete minus the heater core. This convertible has power steering, power drum brakes, power top, original Delco AM radio, and 14x7 Rally II wheels.
