Vinyl Interior1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This '66 Thunderbird is powered by a 390 4brl V8. The mileage since being rebuilt is around 500 miles. The Ford 390 and the 3spd automatic transmission were rebuilt, and a new 100 Amp alternator, new voltage regulator, "Pony" rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, new motor mounts, new distributor, new coil and plug wires, new starter, new belts and hoses, and a rebuilt radiator were installed. This Convertible has all new suspension front and rear, all new steering linkages and joints, new exhaust system, one year old Ford Reproduction battery, and reproduction original styled bias ply tires, 815x15 4PR WSW RED BAND, as stated on original Ford window sticker. Other options on this 1966 Ford is Selectaire Conditioner, AM/FM radio, power windows, power front disc brakes, power steering, seat belts, and tinted glass. This 1966 Ford has a new top, new front windshield, new carpet, new trunk mat, interior is newly reupholstered, newer paint, and has most of the chrome replated. The roof control mechanism and taillight sequencer have been electronically updated to the Thunderbird Club of America standards. There is also an updated, hidden stereo with six disc CD changer mounted nicely in the trunk. All works! A few other features the owner added is a power antenna, door speakers for stereo, right side view mirror, and Deluxe hub caps. The original owner's manual with dealer plate, receipts, brochures, paperwork are included with this beautiful Convertible.
