Hold onto your seats because even though this is badged as a 427 on the fenders this bow tied beauty is packing a 454 Cubic Inch big block backed by a Powerglide transmission delivering power to the wheels via a 12 bolt Posi-traction rear end. This car has had a frame off restoration and looks just as great as it drives. In addition to the great rumble of the big block and smooth shifting of the transmission this car also has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning that make driving this little Chevy a pure joy. One turn of the key and the engine comes to life and purrs at idle and roars when accelerating.
Inside you will find a very nice and period correct interior with comfortable black bucket seats and chrome plated center console. The SS package also included a 4 gauge instrument cluster in lieu of dashboard warning lights.
