Tilt Steering WheelFor sale in our Chicago showroom is this monstrous 1984 Chevrolet K10 pickup truck. The K10 was an everyday vehicle for most, but has become a common platform for building custom off-roaders and show cars and this example is a bit of both. This K10 comes with a classic Chevrolet 350 CID engine modified with an Edelbrock 650 CFM carburetor, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold, a larger camshaft, Heddman headers, and flowmaster mufflers. All of that makes for a very authoritative sounding truck sure to draw attention. To keep an eye on engine conditions, a set of Sunpro gauges has been added. All of this power is put through a 700R4 automatic transmission through both the front and rear axles. While the engine was being put together the rest of the vehicle was given a once over in a frame-off restoration, including a front end off the face lifted ’87 model. The custom paint pops in the sunlight, and the interior is also a one-off design. The truck has been lifted with a Skyjacker 6 inch lift kit to make room for the 35 inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. This lift doesn’t stop with a basic lift kit; there is also a Skyjacker steering stabilizer, as well as a longer replacement driveshaft.
