In its relatively short production run, it was bodied as a coupe, convertible, sedan, van, station wagon, bus, and pickup truck. The Corvair was GMs response to the Volkswagen Beetle, but was not received as strongly, thanks to the works of Ralph Nader. Many different engines were made available for the run of this model, with this one housing a 145 CID flat 6 engine over the rear wheels, connected to an automatic transmission powering the rear wheels. This drop-top is all about enjoying the complete experience of the drive. The classy white interior matches the white top of the Corvair, and pops very well off the fantastic red paint. The engine and transmission are both original to the car. Options include: Air-conditioning, AM/FM radio, Manual convertible top, radial tires, seat belts, and vinyl interior.
