1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

For sale in our Chicago showroom is one remarkable 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This car will be sure to get plenty of looks thanks to a recent black paint job, black vinyl top and black interior. Not only is this car a sheer pleasure on the eyes but it is built to perform as well.

Under the gloss black hood you will see a 400 small block Chevrolet motor that has been bored 30 over with cylinder jackets dry plugged for strength. New rotating assembly with 5.7 rods and pistons to 10.5-1 with 64cc heads. The engine has been balanced and a high pressure oil pump, high pressure fuel pump and high flow water pump have been added. Rounding out the top end is a Comp cam kit with a 290 profile with roller rockers.

Fuel delivery is handled by a new Edelbrock 750 CFM Carb and has an upgraded DUI HEI distributor. The exhaust is a brand new Hooker super comp with ceramic headers and 3" collectors and pipes flowing through 3" Flowmasters. All this power is delivered to a brand new 700R transmission with a 2800 stall, a G-Tech cross member and a balanced shaft. The differential is a brand new 12-bolt Posi with 3:73 ratio. The steering gear has also been rebuilt and features a close ratio gear set. Front steering components have also been refreshed by Frame Tech with all new MOOG suspension parts. The front and rear features 2" drop springs by Hodgkis with KYB shocks and heavy duty front sway bar. New upper adjustable and lower tubed control arms were added to the rear making this car ride and drive just as nice as she looks. The black vinyl roof really sets this car apart and give this Monte a real muscle car appearance.
