Vinyl Interior1958 Chevrolet Bel Air 4dr Sedan for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 58 Chevy has an 145 HP Inline 235 6 cylinder engine, with a "3 on the Tree" manual transmission, that runs great. The Bel Air runs great and the owner has put on over 2000 cruising miles on it with in the last two years. This car has been updated with electrical wipers and front seat belts. The interior has new carpeting and recovered seats with reproduction materials. The Bel Air was ordered from the factory as a radio delete car, and still has the original plate on the dash. Also on the dash is a temperature gauge and factory clock. The Honey Beige paint on this 1958 Chevy is in good shape. The accent paint in the scallop is Anniversary Gold, which matches the Anniversary Gold cloth and vinyl interior. This Chevy has a new gas tank sending unit. For 1958, Chevrolet models were redesigned longer, lower, and heavier than their 1957 predecessors. The 1958 Chevrolet Series 1700 (referring to the 6-cylinder cars) and the 1800 Series (V-8 cars) Bel Air lineup ranged from two-door sedans to station wagons. The luxurious Impala models were available as either a two-door hardtop sport coupe or a two-door sport convertible. Another iconic name associated with the Bel Air Series was the Nomad four-door station wagon that had seating for six. It had conventional styling but with high-level trim.
