Finished in the original shade of Bolero Red with period-correct black vinyl bucket seats and a Hurst shifter with Cue-ball knob. The original radio has been replaced with a modern AM/FM stereo that keeps with the vintage look complete with matching chrome-plated knobs. The headliner, seats and loop pile carpeting look very fresh and require no maintenance or restoration.
On the exterior of the vehicle you will notice a remarkable fit and finish of all body panels that is a true testament to the restoration quality. The fenders, doors and rear quarter panels are very straight and look to be all original sheet metal. All chrome, aluminum and stainless trim are polished very nice and all rubber seals are soft and pliable. Included with the sale is a soft car cover, chrome valve cover gaskets and the original ignition system and distributor.
Under the hood is the original Turbo Jet 396 Cubic Inch V8 that was underrated at 350 horsepower is highly detailed and ready for show. That much naturally aspirated horsepower combined with the 4-speed gear box with a Hurst shifter makes this SS Chevelle a blast to drive at any speed and cruises along at highway speeds without any noise or vibration.
