In 1964 the Chevelle was designed to compete in the Muscle car race and Chevrolet delivered by introducing some of the nicest looking and driving cars in the marketplace. This fine example has been meticulously cared for and has undergone a full frame-off restoration in 2008. Featuring the original 283 Cubic Inch V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission this car has plenty of power to get up and move along with the big boys.

This car was finished with the intention of keeping everything original as possible while refreshing anything that required attention. It is believed that the brown vinyl top is original to the car. What really makes this Malibu stand out is the original shade of Saddle Tan metallic paint with a black vinyl top that creates a perfect contrast to one another. The original SS hubcaps with whitewall tires gives this car the look of a sleeper from the exterior but feels like a true vintage sports car on the interior. The bucket seats with original center console and chrome shifter along with a center mounted Sun tachometer are sure to give you that muscle car feel and comfortable seating for up to 5 adults allows you to bring the family and friends along to any cruise night or car show.

Under the hood you will see just as much attention to detail as you will on the exterior of the car. The numbers matching block is finished in the correct shade of orange and this car still retains the original windshield washer bottle. An upgraded Rochester 4bbl carburetor has been added for better performance. This car is sure to turn some heads and looks every bit as fresh when it rolled off of the Van Nuys assembly plant in 1964.
