1968 Chevrolet Impala

For sale in our Chicago showroom is a classic 1968 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. The Chevrolet Impala was first introduced 10 years prior to this magnificent machine rolling off the assembly line and by 1968 the name became synonymous with the full size flagship of the Chevrolet line. This car will dwarf most modern full-size cars and there is no mistaking it's a Chevrolet with those cool triple taillights and long bow-tie emblems.

This car feels just right from the moment you enter the enormous interior and slide into the front bench seat. As you peer out of the huge windshield you will be amazed at the huge front end stretching out to the gleaming chrome bumper and decorative grill work that is unmistakable Chevrolet. One turn of the dash mounted ignition and the famous 350 cubic inch Chevy small block comes to life. The Flowmaster dual exhaust with headers makes this full size dream boat sound amazing.

Recent work has been completed to make this car not only a pleasure to look at but also ready for the open road with top down enjoyment for years to come. The engine was rebuilt last year and features an electronic ignition and 4bbl carburetor. For added safety a power brake conversion was done in 2014 and this classic Impala also has new raised white letter tires surrounding the rally wheels.

The Grotto Blue metallic paint looks fantastic and was professionally done around 2002 and still shows very nicely. All of the chrome and trim also look great and the black interior appears to be original and very well kept. The black convertible top works effortlessly and is also in very good condition without and rips or tears.
