This COPO #48 of #69 is Red and Black with Metallic silver graphics. As you know, the COPO Camaros Chevy has been producing for racing-only the last few years come with no vehicle identification number (VIN) because they are only for racing purposes. Purchasing one new in 2016 wasn't exactly easy. Due to the fact that demand exceeded supply by a large margin, all the buyers were randomly selected by "an independent third-party" from the pool of interested customers. the 2016 COPO Drag Car should be quicker than its predecessor due to the Camaro's lighter and stiffer construction. Newly developed all-motor, 6.2-liter, this is the 427 (LSX) Naturally Aspirated rated at 430 HP. All factory engines will mate to a race-prepped Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission. These vehicles are produced as race cars from the factory and do not have vin numbers. They cannot be registered. FRONT SUSPENSION Adjustable Strange Engineering coil over struts All components provided by Strange Engineering. Wheels are Bogart Racing lightweight with unique COPO logo. • Forged outer ring • Billet center • 15" x 9.75" rear • 15" x 4" front • Billet Construction • 4 3/4" bolt circle pattern. The sum of all this engineering is one BAD Camaro. This is the first year (2016 ) that the COPO was placed on the ALPHA platform.
