Wire WheelsAfter being out of the public eye for over 30 years, this legendary T nicknamed the “Missing Link†was made famous by Linda Vaughn also known as “Miss Hurstâ€. Back in the 1970’s this Touring T was built by Richard Graves who use to work with Boyd Codington and helped build some stunning rides. The four seater bucket used in this build is coated in a classic style of flames and that matched with the refreshed upholstery matches the style of the 1970’s perfectly. What really will set this Touring T apart from any other build though is the drive train that was used. Sitting right in front of the tub is a 2300 overhead cam engine with a gnarly Alpine turbo hanging off the side. Paired behind that is a C4 automatic transmission and is sending the power back to an independent Jaguar rear end which not only provides a smoother ride, but looks so cool when looking at it from the rear. When you jump into the bucket, you will have to straddle the steering wheel that juts right up from the floor and adds to the wild styling of the whole car. Believe it or not though, the steering feels quite normal! It is pleasant to drive and gets a ton of looks where ever it may go.
