This one family owned truck was special ordered in 1953 and always stored inside when not being used. One of the last truck ever built in the Kansas City plant in 1953 and only 15,578 original miles, this F-350 was used as a wheat truck in Eastern Colorado. Believed to be 1 of 3, 1953 50th anniversary wheat trucks ever built, this 50th Anniversary Battleship Grey Ford F-350 wheat truck is a true survivor. 1953 was the first year optional interior amenities were new, including a dome light, lighter, arm rests, sun visors and a radio.
Powered by a 215 CID straight 6, backed by a 4 speed Synchro-Silent trans, Ford MagicAire heater, 50th anniversary steering wheel, 9’ hydraulic dump bed, 18†black sideboards to use as a wheat truck, wheat tail gate, five new rims built by Les Schwab to replace the old dangerous split rims, new tires and new paint 2 years ago. A very gorgeous survivor, that is a one of a kind truck. When you hop inside you’ll remember what it is like to be back in the good ol’ days. That same year 1953, Ian Fleming publishes his first James Bond novel, Casino Royale in the United Kingdom, and the New York Yankees win fifth world series in a row.
