Only 94,000 miles have ticked over on this car and only 2,000 since a full rebuild was completed. From 1955 to 1970 this car was driven regularly until it was parked for nearly 30 years before getting pulled back out of the garage and having an extensive restoration done on it in 1998 by a reputable shop in Colorado. The original engine was swapped out for a more powerful 312 cubic inch V8 out of a Thunderbird and was paired up with the standard three-on-the-tree transmission. The black exterior paint was laid over the freshly worked body and still looks excellent 20 years later! The interior matches nicely with a two-tone Black and Gray color combination that really adds to the comfortable floaty ride we have come to expect from a 1950’s car. With a simple turn of the key the V8 comes to life and, with the help of the all new wiring harness installed, you will maintain your peace of mind. During the restoration this Crown Victoria was converted to a 12-Volt system and allowed for a more modern radio to be installed to thoroughly enjoy your cruise. Another significant improvement was replacing the bias ply tires with a set of radial white wall tires allowing it to feel much more controllable. As you ride in this car you will be impressed with how quiet and smooth the ride is. It makes for a great Sunday afternoon cruising car or even a great grocery getter!
