In 1965 the Mercury Comet was starting to become a household name. The Comet was based on the Ford Falcon and Fairlane and was a beautiful small sedan. This Comet, however, is one heck of a Street Machine. This gorgeous red and white 1965 Comet come with a powerful 302 CID V8 boasting over 360 horsepower. This fully built 302 screams to life with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Manifold, and Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor and tune kit. The engine also has a high-volume oil pump, Mallory comp-9000 ignition system, and Edelbrock Elite Series Aluminum valve covers. You can stop on a dime in this Comet with its 4 wheels disc brakes, and Grenada disc brake spindles. It also has a Ford 9-inch Disc Brake Rear end. This Comet has a transmission built to handle the power under the hood with a World Class T-5 5 Speed Transmission with a Hurst short throw shifter, and Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch. This Comet will scream down the road, and really turn heads as you roll by.
