The fourth generation was built between 1964-1966 and featured a more squared off look. 1964 was the only year of this generation with Thunderbird spelled out on the hood, later models had a chrome emblem. As a result of the redesign sales in 1964 went up 50 percent from the previous year. This Thunderbird is powered by a 390 engine backed by the Cruise-O-Matic MX 3 speed automatic transmission. The beautiful blue interior features the popular "Tilt-Away" steering column power steering and power brakes. Driving the Thunderbird is a dream.
