The original 1.3L engine was replaced with a more powerful 1.6L opposed 4 cylinder air cooled engine. The car became much peppier with this change and, paired with the 4-speed manual transmission, made this car great to drive! The Beetles were typically bare bones cars, but this one has been retrofitted with an AM/FM radio giving you the option to listen to your favorite oldies hits.
