1930 Ford 5-window coupe street rod for sale in the Detroit showroom. This 1930 Ford 5-window coupe is an excellent example of a well built street rod. This Ford Coupe is a rare all steel build, again everything is steel from the fenders to the hood and vented removable hood sides, no fiberglass anywhere on the car. This street rod is powered by a Holley supercharged Ford 302 HO GT40 crate motor. The motor is built with a ported and polished GT40 heads, Weiand/Holley 174 supercharger, chrome headers, Barry Grant Mighty Demon 650 carburetor, MSD distributor, Walker radiator, and full stainless steel exhaust. Power runs to the ground through a Ford C4 auto transmission with 3,500 stall convertor, Lokar linkage, and 23†Nostalgia shifter and a Ford 8 inch rear end with 3.73 gears. Up front this 1930 5-window coupe sits on a 3 inch chrome drop axle with newer disc brakes, and has adjustable coilover suspension in the rear. Car has 15x7 inch front and 16x8 inch rear Eagle polished alloy wheels with Goodyear tires. This all steel 1930 Ford coupe street rod has a 3 inch chop top done professionally, flared and cut rear fenders, fully shaved and flushed doors and windshield, and custom chrome headlight bar with tri-bar headlights. Car is finished in custom yellow PPG paint with smoked glass and “Endless Summer†painted graphics which follow through to the interior of the car (with matching wind breaker jackets). The interior and rear power rumble seat are refinished in custom tan Ultra-Leather with stitching and colored piping, and embroidered graphics. Rear rumble seat is both powered and remote controlled from the cabin and the key fob. Doors and gas door are all shaved and open via remote power poppers. Shaved suicide doors also have remote lock out pins. As well as the new upholstery the interior sports new VDO gauges all around, an illuminated billet switch panel controlling all the poppers, locks, all new wiring by American Autowire, polished tilt wheel, rosewood dash, and Kenwood radio and speakers. Many chrome accents outside and under the hood including all exterior lights, drop axle, front suspension and steering components, valve covers, air cleaner, and alternator.
